Hang In There

I estimated that it's probably been two weeks since this man either tweezed or shaved his ears, considering that on the average--hair grows about 1/2 an inch every month.

Straight From the Hip

I made my daughters these frilly little dresses for Easter one year. The fabric was difficult to work with, but I lined every edge with lace and ribbon. It was the most beautiful day when I dressed them up and took their picture. Afterwards, I hiked one daughter on one hip and one daughter on the other and stared into the mirror. I never wanted to forget what it looked like to be holding both of them together.

Please Help

Sometimes I see things that depress me. In this particular situation I had my camera in the car and was sitting at a stoplight. I didn't help this man, wouldn't have had the time or opportunity to hold up traffic if I had wanted to. But I have often wondered if the woman in the distance did anything for him.

Homeless Spider

This spider weaved his home outside my bathroom window. Every morning after he'd just completed his web in hopes to catch a tasty breakfast, I'd open up the window and collapse his creation. This went on for a couple of weeks before he finally surrended and moved on.

Fuzzy Wuzzy

I was counting on my hubby to take some awesome pictures of my daughter and her boyfriend for the big prom night. Every photograph he took looks just like this.

Poop in My Path

A fresh deposit of bear scat on a morning walk. I took this picture in case I turned up missing.

Anything for Attention

A truth about my husband: He will fake having splinters in the bottom of his foot and ask the kids to try to find them and pick them out.
